October 19 Seafood Bisque Day

October 19 Seafood Bisque Day

Today day is October 19 Seafood Bisque Day observed annually, a day for all seafood lovers. Seafood bisque is a tested soup of French origin. It is made from lobster, crab, shrimp or crayfish.
Bisque (“a rich shellfish soup, typically made from lobster.”) is a method of extracting every bit of flavor from imperfect crustaceans not good enough to send to market. In an authentic bisque, the shells are ground to a fine paste and added to thicken the soup.
