March 14 is Pi Day

Pi Day was founded by Physicist Larry Shaw in 1988. Pi (π) is the ratio of any circle’s circumference to its diameter. Its value is approximately equal to 3.14159265, pi is represented by the lowercase Greek letter, π, because it is the first letter of the Greek work περίμετρος, meaning perimeter.
