August 14 Creamsicle Day

Creamsicle Day is celebrated annually on August 14. This is a day to enjoy this refreshing summertime orange and vanilla treat (Ice cream and fruit juice in one).
A soft flavor that kids the world over have discovered to sate the heat and give energy to them during the oppressive summer months. That first bite seems to overpower the taste buds, giving a hint that even more surprises await within the frozen delight, this is a day of celebration – Creamsicle Day.

Creamsicle are not hard to find, but they are also easy to make at home. Mix together fruit juice and vanilla ice cream in a large bowl. Then, gradually add milk and continue to mix. Finally, pour the mixture into small paper cups and place them in the freezer. Once they are partially frozen, insert Popsicle sticks into them and place them back inside the freezer. When they are frozen solid, peel off the paper cups and enjoy the Creamsicle
