October 29 Cat Day

Today day is October 29 Cat Day observed every year. The day encourages and founded to help cat, cat lovers to celebrate the cats in their lives for the unconditional love and companionship.

This day is sponsored by the Animal Miracle Foundation and was created by Pet Lifestyle Expert and Animal Welfare Advocate, Colleen Paige, in 2005. Since its inception, it has helped save the lives of more than one million cats.
Did you know that nearly 4 million approximately cats in the US are put into shelters every year.
Cat lovers everywhere will know that the National Cat Day slogan - 'where every day is cat day' - is so very, very true! But the 29th of October is going to be extra special.
