Sausage Pizza Recipe With Dough and Sauce Made From Scratch. 

This recipe is the BOMB with both the dough and sauce made from scratch with fresh garlic and Gourmet Garden Italian herb blend.
Ingredients:
Dough:
3 cups bread flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup 110 degree water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 package yeast

Sauce:
14 oz. diced tomato
6 oz. tomato paste
1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Italian herb blend
4 cloves garlic chopped

Toppings:
4 oz. fresh mozzarella
4 oz. grated mozzarella
3 links Italian sausage cooked and cut into slices

Preparation:

Add 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 package yeast to 1 cup 110 degree water Wait 10 minutes until foamy
Add yeast mixture to flour olive oil and salt. Mix and knead 5 minutes.
Cover for 1 hour in coated bowl.
Knead 5 minutes.
Cut into half - this makes 2 - 16" pizzas
Roll into thin dough
Combine ingredients for sauce, simmer for 30 minutes and then cool to room temperature
Preheat oven to 550 degrees
Cover dough with sauce cheese and sausage. Bake at 550 degrees for 10 minutes or 12 minutes at 500 degrees if your oven doesn't get that hot.
Remove, slice and garnish with fresh basil and parmesan cheese.

Day is celebrated in the United States, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.
Throughout the world there are celebrations being held of LGBTQ people everywhere coming out of the closet and loudly and proudly proclaiming who they are and standing side by side with their allies for a more equal and accepting tomorrow.

October 9 Leif Erikson Day

United States Representative John Blatnik from Duluth introduced a bill in 1963 to observe Leif Erikson Day nationwide. On September 2, 1964, the United States Congress passed Joint Resolution 88-566authorizing the President to proclaim October 9 as Leif Erikson Day.
Leif Erikson left the European continent in 999 and set foot in America in the year 1,000. In 1925, U. S. President Calving Coolidge recognized Leif Erikson as the discoverer of America. October 8 Fluffernutter Day

Today day is October 8 Fluffernutter Day, A sweet marshmallow-like spread called Marshmallow Creme was invented in 1917 by Archibald Query in Somerville, Massachusetts. The term “fluffernutter” is also used to describe other foods featuring marshmallow creme and peanut butter such as cupcakes, cookies, bars, candy, and even French toast.

Query sold his recipe for Marshmallow Creme to Durkee-Mower, Inc. in 1920, who renamed it Marshmallow Fluff. Over 100 years later they continue to sell it under that name today.
In 1913 during World War I, Emma and Amory Curtis of Melrose, Massachusetts invented Snowflake Marshmallow Creme and published a recipe for a peanut butter and marshmallow creme sandwich, which is the earliest known example of a Fluffernutter.
