November 12 Chicken Soup for the Soul Day

November 12 Chicken Soup for the Soul Day

Today day is November 12 Chicken Soup for the Soul Day Observed every year.
Chicken Soup for the Soul is a publisher and consumer goods company founded in 1993 with its headquarters in Cos Cob, Connecticut. The first book, as most subsequent titles in the series, was of true stories written by ordinary people about their own lives and soon became a best-seller.
In the United States and Canada, chicken soup often has noodles or rice in it, thus giving it its common name of "chicken noodle soup." Traditionally, American chicken soup was prepared using old hens too tough and stringy to be roasted or cooked for a short time. In modern times, these fowl are difficult to come by, and broiler chickens are often used to make soup; soup hens or fowl are to be preferred when available. (With material from: Wikipedia)
