September 4 Wildlife Day

Today Day is September 4 Wildlife Day is observed annually. Wildlife Day, founded in 2005 and carried forward in the memory of animal lover and conservationist Steve Irwin, serves to bring awareness to the number of endangered animals.


On December 20, 2013, the UN added World Wildlife Day to its calendar as an official event to be celebrated from March 3, 2014.
You have visit a zoo or animal sanctuary in your area, and learn about animal and do some volunteer work.
Wildlife trade is one of the most profitable illicit trades in the world, estimated at up to billion dollar annually. Illegal wildlife trade of elephant ivory, rhino horns, and tiger products, is widespread in many countries, particularly in Asia and Africa.
