On March 1 People celebrate Fruit Compote Day, a mixture of fruit and other ingredient. Its originated in France in 17th Century. The French’s belief that fruit cooked in sugar syrup balanced the effects of humidity on the body led to their invention of compote. Fruit compote made by Fresh fruits or dried fruits.
Fruit Compote is easy t prepare, that it was inexpensive ingredients and well known as Jewish cuisine. To really add an air of sophistication, finely shred some mint leaves and sprinkle them over the compote to add color and a fresh counterpoint to all that fruitiness.
